100 mixed media materials: the ultimate list
The uncommon, the unconventional…
I'm thrilled to share the next 60 mixed media materials to spark your artistic endeavours. Last week’s blog featured the first 40 uncommon mixed media materials to build depth in your mixed media art.
The great thing about mixed media is that anything goes. You can be as free and loose or controlled and precise as you like. You can use whatever colours and shapes that most appeal to you. There’s no pressure to make it look exactly like anything, so relax and have fun giving these materials a try.
In next week’s blog I will explore different combinations of mixed media materials. A great way to push yourself creatively is by combining your different art mediums and materials. I’ve chosen some of my favourite ways to do just that and want to share them with you. I know that once you’ve started down this mixed-media trail, you’re going to want to try your own combos and take your artwork farther. So check back in next week and we will get started!
